    Arist Bio:

Ki Nam Chung (aka Ann Louis) was born in1971 Yanbian, China. Korean-Chinese artist Ann Louis majored in art at Yanbian University, where she developed an abstract style using very soft colors. In the early 2000s, her work was exhibited in U.S. galleries, and she became known for her semi-abstract landscapes of cloudy skies. Since then, she has grown more popular in the U.S. and has participated several times in the New York Art Expo. Her work has been exhibited in her home country at the Beijing Minority Race Art Expo (2002), the Beijing Oil-Painting Academic Society Sketch Contest (2006), and the Songzhang Art Show (2007-2012).

Louis’ paintings are distinct for their soft color scheme, gentle technique, and grand scale. Primarily working with the contemporary landscapes as her main subject matter, Louis allows the gentle flow of her paint develop its subject matter.  By working conceptually, she allows the work to create an idea and theme that begs the mind to wonder where she was when the idea came to her.  The conceptual process also allows the notions of color and shape to be manipulated into a piece that leaves the viewer with questions as well as answers.  Her temperate brush strokes evoke a suede-like softness, which invites the eye to linger and enjoy her work.

All artwork is signed by Ann Louis and comes with Certificate of Authenticity and Appraisal. Art Leaders Gallery is an authorized Ann Louis art dealer.

    Arrigo Biography

Bob Arrigo was born in Toronto in 1950. As a very young boy he discovered a natural hunger for the arts. At age sixteen he won his high school’s art award for the most accomplished art student in the school. The award was accompanied by a full tuition grant to attend three years of full time study in fine arts at Toronto’s Central Art School and then on to producing Animation and Cinematography for the next three years at Sheridan College.

After several years working professionally as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist in the music business, Mr. Arrigo came back to his first love, visual arts.  In 1979 he established Arrigo Signs & Graphics Inc., a full service commercial art and sign studio. His exquisite hand lettering, graphic work, and interviews have been featured many times in two of the largest and most established sign trade magazines in the world.  In 1992 he founded MuralArt Artistic Works and since has produced several hundred projects throughout southern Ontario from upscale residential work to 30’x40’ hand painted, exterior wall murals in Toronto’s downtown core.  But in 2005 Mr. Arrigo began taking fine arts seriously and in years since his work can be seen represented by galleries across Canada and the US.  Bob Arrigo is an emerging artist whose impressionistic landscapes and figurative work can now be found in both private and corporate collections throughout Canada, the US, the UK, and Russia.

“As an artist my style continues to emerge from a melting pot of influences, from the Renaissance masters, to 60’s era pop artists, to the Group of Seven, all extremely diverse in comparison to one another, but I have learned something from them all.  My focus is the installation of strong and dynamic composition, line value and my intent to push a very bright palette.  The influence of my own background injects a decided graphic and stylistic interpretation to what I see before me.  I believe that this world and the drama that unfolds daily in all of our lives should be reflected in the dynamics of the art I create.”

Arrigo describes his role as an artist as that of an interpreter: "In much the same way a musician is gifted with an ear for music, the visual artist is gifted with an eye for beauty. As an artist, there is an acute awareness of the endless beauties of our natural world. It is my honour, calling, and responsibility to express the images my eyes see through the use of composition, design, dynamic interpretation and passion.  To simplify the multiple intricacies of each subject of inspiration is the task in which I strive....that your eyes might see like mine."

    Natasha Barnes Biography
Natasha Barnes is a self-taught South African artist born in 1969. She stumbled upon the joy of painting at the age of 7, but instinctively knew at that point that it would consume her life and define who she would become.

She began her adult work experience, not as an artist, but as a Cordon Bleu Chef in Durban at The Oyster Box Hotel in 1990. She left the hotel industry in 1991 to take up a position as a cooking editor for “Your Family”, one of South Africa’s leading cooking magazines where her portfolio included recipe development and food styling. In 1996 she left the magazine and opened her own cooking school for the previously disadvantaged communities in Durban.

During her years in the cooking industry, she exhibited at local art shows and small private exhibitions where she started to receive recognition and praise for her work. It was at that point that she decided to pursue art as her career. Since then she has become one of the most collected artists from Africa and has artwork exhibited and sold in fine art galleries throughout the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

“Art is what I do. Every painting is a mood, a reflection of what is happening in my mind. Some days are quiet - some days are abstract. But every day is a painting, a whole new way of looking at my world.

Inspirations are found in my travels. I absorb the moments and transfer the feelings to my canvas, bright and bold. Every stroke moulds my signature, in so doing, creating another piece of Natasha Barnes.

    This is my art…"
