F. Cono Biography
F. Cono was born in 1973 in Heilongjiang, China. He expressed interest in the arts and had a creative mind at a very early age. His family supported and encouraged him to pursue his passion for the arts. During his schooling, Cono’s art teacher noticed his talent in art and recommended further training. As a result, he began taking college art courses while still in high school. Cono graduated from Harbin Normal University with a fine arts degree and is now a member of Heilongjiang Artist Association. He has participated in the Hong Kong Art Festival since 2007.
F. Cono has always admired the colors and beauty of nature that surrounds him. His is now best known for his transitional landscapes original oil paintings. With a strong sense of composition and space, combined with a flair for the dramatic use of light, Como is naturally lead to create striking original oil paintings. His technique involves the use of pallet knife work with thick brushstrokes that adds a tremendous amount of depth to his original landscape. The warm light softly grazes the fields, trees and ponds to create a romantic and welcoming landscape painting.
His work was exhibited at the China Modern Art market 2009. He received third place at the China Choice Oil Painting Exhibition in 2010, and he participated in the Beijing Young Artists and the 8th Heilongjiang Fine Art Exhibition, and China Contemporary Art Exhibition 2010.
In 2011 he exhibited for the first time at the New York Art Expo and many collectors admired his artwork. Cono’s original oil paintings can be found on display in select fine galleries in Asia and The United States.
