    Steve Tracy Biography
Born in Santa Clara, California, Steve now makes his home at his country studio in London, Ontario. At the age of 10 he discovered the joys of painting with his first set of oil paints, and quickly became immersed in the world of art. In 1972 he enrolled in the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and went on to also graduate from the American Art Institute. He paints a variety of genres including abstracts and athletic scenes, but has become particularly well recognized for his Canadian landscapes.

“The discovery of the evolution of art within oneself is easier as we get older and have more experiences to measure from. Sometimes I feel like a kid again re-discovering the old against a backdrop of newness and nostalgia."

Steve Tracy owns his own gallery in London Ontario, and has had numerous accomplishments and honored recognitions throughout his illustrious career. His awards range from best of show in a Plein Air competition in Colorado, to an Emmy for HBO Scenic Artist in "Dawns Early Light”, to having long term placement of his artwork at the Empire State Building. Steve's work has also appeared on the cover of Serenity Magazine and has been published in New York Times and Arabella Magazine.

Today, Steve continues to paint as well as instruct and exhibit throughout the United States and Canada. His artwork is highly sought after and can be seen in select galleries and collections throughout the world.
