Abbey Cross Road – The Beatles – Original Mixed Media – Commissions Available

Abbey Cross Road by Craig Alan

Contemporary, Pop Art – Populus Series

Abbey Cross Road is Craig Alan’s tribute to one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, the Beatles and their infamous Abbey Road crossing. Abbey Road is a road in north west London that houses one of the world’s most famous recording studios, as well the famous Beatles zebra crossing. On 8th August 1969, at 11.35am, four men walked across a zebra crossing in St John’s Wood, London. Hardly an earth-shattering event, but since then millions of people have come to the very same crossing to imitate those four men. Alan’s Populus people group together to form a portrait of the four Beatles crossing Abbey Road.
